Jennifer Dirks  
President & CEO 



Jennifer Dirks joined TEMPO in 2014 as the organization's first President & CEO. In her role, Dirks is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of TEMPO's strategic direction. She works closely with the board chair, executive committee and board of directors to ensure this direction stays true to the organization's mission and vision of furthering the impact of women leaders in the Milwaukee business community. Dirks also oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization, corporate partnerships and serves as a community advocate on behalf of TEMPO. Dirks is a communications and public relations executive with more than 20 years of corporate and agency experience with business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. She served as Director Corporate Communications & Public Relations for Clifton Gunderson, a national CPA firm. Her agency experience includes Bader Rutter and Zeppos & Associates. Dirks also spent more than a decade as a television news reporter and producer in various newsrooms across the Midwest. She currently serves on the Board of PEARLS for Teen Girls, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the Medical College of Wisconsin Physicians Board. She spent nine years on the the Milwaukee Art Museum Friends of Art Board. She is an adjunct instructor for Marquette University and an active member of Professional Dimensions and Milwaukee Women inc. She volunteers her time with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Lakefront Festival of Art. Dirks was named a 'Woman of Influence' and a 'Power Broker' by the Milwaukee Business Journal. A native of St. Charles, Illinois, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications from Illinois State University. 

Krista Boyce
Vice President, Strategic Partnerships

Krista Boyce joined TEMPO in 2023 as VP, Strategic Partnerships. In this role, Krista is responsible for identifying strategic partnerships for TEMPO & the TEMPO Foundation which align with the organization's mission and vision and supports future growth. She will oversee TEMPO's key strategic initiatives including Women's Affinity Alliance, TEMPO Foundation and Emerging Women Leaders. She will also be responsible for curating and supporting the TEMPO and EWL corporate partnerships and sponsorships of key initiatives and annual signature events. Krista brings more than 15 years of fundraising/fund development experience, strategic planning expertise and special events management to TEMPO. Prior to joining the organization, Krista served as Executive Director of the Milwaukee Art Museum's Lakefront Festival of Art and served eight years as Director, Special Events for the Milwaukee Art Museum where she launched Yoga @ the Museum, the Floral Fashion Show, Under the Wings program as well as many other initiatives. Krista was a ballet dancer having studied with the New York City Ballet, Kirov Academy of Ballet and the Milwaukee Ballet. She also taught ballet prior to receiving her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Krista is married to Chris Boyce and together raise their three children Emma, Brooks and Max. 

Kelsiee Arreguin
Director of Member Engagement & Experience 

Kelsiee Arreguin joined TEMPO in 2017 as the Communication and Events intern and began full-time in June 2018 as TEMPO's Communication and Events Specialist. In June 2021, she was promoted to Director of Member Engagement and Experience where she serves TEMPO's more than 450 members. Kelsiee works closely with TEMPO's various committees including membership, programming, professional development, engagement and mentor circles to help shape the overall member experience in alignment with TEMPO's mission and vision. In addition, she oversees the planning and execution of TEMPO's largest signature events, annually - the Leadership Event and Mentor Awards. Kelsiee is from Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a double minor in Corporate Communications and Advertising from Marquette University, where she graduated cum laude. After living in Milwaukee for 7 years, Kelsiee relocated to Boulder, Colorado in 2021 where she works remotely. She is a Spring 2021 graduate of FOCUS Training's Elevate Institute and loves to find creative ways to give back and stay involved in her community. 

Diavian Lyons 
Office Operations Administrator

Diavian Lyons joined TEMPO in February 2021 as the Communication and Events intern. In June 2021, Diavian began full-time as TEMPO's Office Operations Administrator. In her role, Diavian will support the organization's executive leadership and team in executing their priorities, scheduling and projects. She recently graduated from Mount Mary University where she has earned a bachelor's degree in Communication studies. She is the first in her family to graduate with a four year degree! Diavian is a native of Chicago but has called Milwaukee home since 2012. She volunteers to be helpful within the community at The Gathering and Common Grounds. Diavian loves to use skills learned throughout life to help elevate and inspire others. 

McKenna Carrigan 
Marketing, Communications & Events Manager

McKenna Carrigan joined TEMPO in September 2022 as Marketing, Communications & Events Manager. In her role she leads all of TEMPO's internal and external marketing efforts. McKenna is responsible for the execution of TEMPO's graphic design, public relations and marketing strategies. She also assists in the planning and execution of TEMPO's various events throughout the year including program meetings, professional development series, and signature events. Previously, McKenna worked at The University Club of Milwaukee as well as other corporate and non-profit organizations in Milwaukee. McKenna holds a Bachelor of Arts-Journalism and Mass Communication in public relations and graphic design from Drake University, has a Certificate in Public Relations from the Public Relations Society of America, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration at Cardinal Stritch University. Outside of work, she is on the board of directors for the Public Relations Society of America--Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter. When she is not planning events or designing engaging content, she enjoys spending time with her family and her mischievous corgis, Poppy and Pippin.
