Event Description: 
TEMPO’s January Program Meeting annually features an economic update from a local or national expert, and the tradition continues in 2024! Sara Walker, Vice President of Investments with Catholic Financial Life, will provide commentary on the economic climate and forecast as we head into 2024. About Our Speaker: 
Sara Walker, CFA, has had a fulfilling investment management career with many lessons learned, including:

  • Importance of listening
  • Importance of a smile
  • Joy of always learning
  • Importance of sharing lessons learned
Her specific experience includes current Vice President of Investments with Catholic Financial Life where she guides investment of a $1.7 billion portfolio for the long run, contributing to the financial security of members and their families. Previous to this role, Sara served as Regional Director of Investments with BMO Wealth Management where she led a team of highly motivated and experiences portfolio managers. Sara has also held Senior Portfolio Manager/Economist role with Associated Wealth Management where she produced and presented economic/market updates with objective of understandability and development. Here Sara developed and led a team of portfolio managers, managed client investment portfolios through various market and business cycles and chartered Financial Analyst designation. 

Sara earned her Executive MBA at UW-Milwaukee and has a BS in Finance & Economics from UW-Parkside. Sara is a previous TEMPO board member.
