Milwaukee Women in the Workplace Study
In March of 2023, Marquette University’s Institute for Women’s Leadership launched its survey, Milwaukee Women in the Workplace Study. The survey was distributed to employees across the Milwaukee area and yielded a sample of 1,590 employees. The purpose of this study was to better understand those factors that encourage women to join, stay, and grow in the Milwaukee community. We call attention to the pervasive workplace challenges and opportunities, emphasizing the importance of establishing cultures that empower women, leverage their talents, and drive progress in the region.
