Category: Professional Development Series
Date: Thursday, October 5, 2023 Event Description: Our speakers, Neha & Steve Bucaro will share their personal experiences and stories, providing authentic insights into the dynamics of the workplace from both men and women. Neha & Steve will bring their lived experiences to the forefront. They will discuss what it looks like to advocate for women in the workplace both as a man and a woman, how to be an ally for those you manage as well as peers, and how to secure male allies and advocates if you don’t already have any. Attendees are encouraged to invite male allies, advocates, and peers to attend alongside them for mutual learnings and takeaways. Our speakers will address audience questions, work through real life scenarios, and diverse workplace experiences to understand what male allyship truly means. We believe that through open, approachable, and respectful dialogue, we can bridge the gap between men and women in the workplace. Join us to gain valuable insights, tangible takeaways, build lasting connections, and contribute to a workplace where everyone thrives. Steve Bucaro is a sought after business strategy executive with the unique combination of Big 4 Consulting Company thought leadership and industry side pragmatism. In his various leadership roles, he has had the opportunity to work with a range of company sizes in different industries and government institutions helping them navigate market changes to develop and execute growth strategies that drive sustainable business results. In 2023, Steve left his most recent role as Chief Strategy Officer at Children’s Wisconsin to partner with his wife, bringing their combined skills and experiences together to launch a strategic consulting practice focused on helping small and medium-sized businesses accelerate their growth and chart a path for long term success. Additionally, they are working together as Real Estate Investors and Angel Investors. Besides his passion for all things strategy, Steve’s foundation is his family, his love of travel and his passion for the White Sox and Bears (originally from Chicago, so he can’t help himself).
