TEMPO Real Talks: White Fragility - Chapter Six

TEMPO advocates for all women, yet our membership is composed of 88 percent white women. We recognize we have much work to do to create an inclusive environment. We also have an opportunity - and an obligation - to harness the power of the TEMPO network to create change both within our organization and within the community. One way we are doing so is by hosting TEMPO Real Talks conversations (virtual for now) around racism, white privilege, implicit bias and other topics that have been avoided for far too long. 

We will base our discussion on chapter six of White Fragility. We encourage our members to purchase, download, or listen to a copy and join Aliya Pitts as she leads us through a discussion of chapter six. We will continue to read and discuss each chapter month by month until we have read all 12 chapters of the book.
