Program Description:
TEMPO Milwaukee's Emerging Women Leaders are active in more than 100 non-profit organizations - as committee members and co-chairs, board members and volunteers. Members
who currently volunteer have expressed an interest in expanding their service, or taking on greater leadership roles. There are also members who are looking to give their time to organizations that align with their interests. For all of us, it can be overwhelming to know where to start or how to balance volunteering with other commitments.

The May EWL Program Meeting will cater to attendees in all stages of their volunteer journeys. TEMPO Milwaukee board chair Tami Garrison will answer the most frequently asked questions from the recent EWL Community Involvement Survey, including what makes a good volunteer, how to find an opportunity that's right for you, and leveraging volunteer experience to prepare yourself for future board service.

Following Tami's remarks, attendees will have the opportunity to network with local non-profits who have an immediate need for volunteers, and ask the leaders of these organizations how to make an impact.
