TEMPO Committees

TEMPO Milwaukee members are welcome to join any of our working committees.  Many have cited this as the best way to get involved.  For more information, contact Executive Director Tracy Johnson.

Board of Directors: Board of Directors Roster

Communications: Work on the monthly TEMPO Milwaukee newsletter, serve as a communications liaison for programs and events, offer expertise and support as needed. Brand and create the image for the TEMPO organization, programs and events through materials and work with other committees. For Communications Committee information click here.

Governance: Ensure that the bylaws and policies of TEMPO Milwaukee are followed and updated annually.  For Governance Committee information click here.

Leadership Event: Contribute to this annual educational event bringing topical and timely information to the business community. This public event includes work with fund development, marketing and logistics. This group meets mid-May through October.

Member Engagement: This committee promotes internal and external visibility and engagement for the TEMPO members.  The goal of this committee is to motivate ALL TEMPO members to participate and engage with each other at some level.

Membership: Actively recruit new member prospects. Act as the welcoming arm of TEMPO in the form of New Member Orientation sessions, telephone contact with the new members, and a new member social event. For Membership Committee information click here.

Mentor Awards Event: Contribute to this annual event that has a proven track record for success in honoring our community’s mentors. TEMPO’s largest event, work on this committee includes fund raising, marketing and logistics. This group meets August through February. Mentoring: Participate in a confidential TEMPO Mentoring Circle, where members support each other's personal and professional development, putting the TEMPO brand to work. TEMPO has a longstanding focus on mentoring and an active member-to-member program offered at no additional cost. For Mentoring Committee information click here.

Programming: Be part of the team that presents monthly meetings and special meetings, arranging for topics and speakers.  Programs include: Annual Meeting, Joint Meetings, Holiday Luncheon, Program Meetings [9 annually]. For Program Committee information click here.
