Jennifer Dirks  
President & CEO 

Jennifer Dirks joined TEMPO Milwaukee in 2014 as the organization's first President & CEO. In her role, Dirks is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of TEMPO Milwaukee's strategic direction. She works closely with the board chair, executive committee and board of directors to ensure this direction stays true to the organization's mission and vision of furthering the impact of women leaders in the Milwaukee business community. Dirks also oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization, corporate partnerships and serves as a community advocate on behalf of TEMPO Milwaukee. Dirks is a communications and public relations executive with more than 20 years of corporate and agency experience with business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. She served as Director Corporate Communications & Public Relations for Clifton Gunderson, a national CPA firm. Her agency experience includes Bader Rutter and Zeppos & Associates. Dirks also spent more than a decade as a television news reporter and producer in various newsrooms across the Midwest. She currently serves on the Board of PEARLS for Teen Girls and Thrivent Financial. She spent nine years on the the Milwaukee Art Museum Friends of Art Board. She is an active committee member with Acts Housing and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee and a member of Professional Dimensions and Milwaukee Women inc. She volunteers her time with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Lakefront Festival of Art. In 2018, Dirks was named a 'Woman of Influence' and an 'Executive to Watch' by the Milwaukee Business Journal. A native of St. Charles, Illinois, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications from Illinois State University. 

Marit Harm Spransy
Director of Membership & Programs

Marit Harm Spransy joined TEMPO Milwaukee in 2015 and has served as Director of Membership & Programs since 2018. She is a resource to the organization’s 700+ members and Emerging Women Leaders and works closely with committee leaders to plan and execute TEMPO Milwaukee’s strategic initiatives. Marit oversees marketing communications, programming, and signature events, identifies partnership opportunities, manages special projects and builds awareness of TEMPO Milwaukee and Emerging Women Leaders with the business community. She is also the project lead for the Women's Leadership Collaborative, TEMPO Milwaukee's partnership with Professional Dimensions and Milwaukee Women inc. Marit is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, but has called Milwaukee home since 2008. She attended UW-Milwaukee where she earned a Bachelor’s in Journalism Advertising and Media Studies and minored in Spanish. Her community involvement includes Future Milwaukee, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Milwaukee Art Museum. 

Kelsiee Arreguin
Communication & Events Specialist

Kelsiee Arreguin joined TEMPO Milwaukee in September 2017 as the Communication and Events intern and began full-time in June 2018 as TEMPO Milwaukee’s Communication and Events Specialist. In her role, Kelsiee leads the planning and execution of all of TEMPO Milwaukee events, including monthly program meetings, quarterly professional development series, Women’s Affinity Alliance programs, and TEMPO Milwaukee's two signature events each year. She also works to develop content for TEMPO Milwaukee’s quarterly newsletters, weekly e-blasts and social media accounts while leading social media efforts during events. Kelsiee is a native of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a double minor in Corporate Communications and Advertising from Marquette University, where she graduated cum laude. 

Parthivee Desai
Marketing and Communications Specialist 

Parthivee Desai joined TEMPO Milwaukee in April 2021 as the Marketing and Communications Specialist. In her role, she executes tactics in-line with the brand and uses marketing and communications to help the organization reach its strategic objectives. She also creates content for weekly e-blasts, quarterly newsletters, annual impact reports as well the organization’s social media strategies. In addition, she oversees the organization website and updates to the membership database. Parthivee is a native of Franklin, Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Marquette University. She has continued to be engaged within the community but strives to change expectations and shake the foundation for those without a voice. 

Diavian Lyons 
Communication and Events Intern

Diavian Lyons joined TEMPO Milwaukee in 2021 as the Communication and Events intern. In her role, Diavian assists Kelsiee in the planning and execution of all of TEMPO Milwaukee events, including monthly program meetings, quarterly professional development series and Women’s Affinity Alliance programs. She also helps to develop content for TEMPO’s quarterly newsletters, weekly e-blasts and social media accounts. She assists the full-time TEMPO team with administrative tasks and support for all initiatives. She is currently attending Mount Mary University where she is earning a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. Diavian is a native of Chicago but has called Milwaukee home since 2012. She volunteers to be helpful within the community at The Gathering and Common Grounds.
