Jennifer Dirks  
President & CEO 



Jennifer Dirks joined TEMPO Milwaukee in 2014 as the organization's first President & CEO. In her role, Dirks is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of TEMPO Milwaukee's strategic direction. She works closely with the board chair, executive committee and board of directors to ensure this direction stays true to the organization's mission and vision of furthering the impact of women leaders in the Milwaukee business community. Dirks also oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization, corporate partnerships and serving as a community advocate on behalf of TEMPO Milwaukee. Dirks is a communications and public relations executive with more than 20 years of corporate and agency experience with business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. She served as Director Corporate Communications & Public Relations for Clifton Gunderson, a national CPA firm. Her agency experience includes Bader Rutter and Zeppos & Associates. Dirks also spent more than a decade as a television news reporter and producer in various newsrooms across the Midwest. She currently serves on the Board of Thrivent Financial and spent nine years on the the Milwaukee Art Museum Friends of Art Board. She is an active committee member with ACTS Housing, Pathfinders and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. She is a member of Professional Dimensions and Milwaukee Women inc. She volunteers her time with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Lakefront Festival of Art. In 2018, Dirks was named a 'Woman of Influence' and an 'Executive to Watch' by the Milwaukee Business Journal. A native of St. Charles, Illinois, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications from Illinois State University. 

Marit Harm 
Director of Membership & Programs


Marit Harm joined TEMPO Milwaukee in 2015 as Program Development Manager and in 2018 was promoted to Director of Membership & Programs. She is a resource to the organization’s 370+ members and 150+ Emerging Women Leaders and works closely with committee leaders to plan and execute TEMPO Milwaukee’s initiatives. Marit oversees marketing communications, programming, and signature events, identifies partnership opportunities, and builds awareness of TEMPO Milwaukee – and specifically the Emerging Women Leaders initiative – with the business community. Marit is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, but has called Milwaukee home for the past 10 years. She attended UW-Milwaukee where she earned a Bachelor’s in Journalism Advertising and Media Studies and minored in Spanish. She’s a 2018 graduate of the Future Milwaukee Leadership Program and is a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters. 

Kelsiee Arreguin
Communication & Events Specialist

Kelsiee Arreguin joined TEMPO Milwaukee in September 2017 as the Communication and Events intern and began full-time in June 2018 as TEMPO Milwaukee’s Communication and Events Specialist. In her role, Kelsiee leads the planning and execution of all of TEMPO Milwaukee events, including monthly program meetings, quarterly professional development series, Women’s Affinity Alliance programs, and TEMPO Milwaukee's two signature events each year. She also works to develop content for TEMPO Milwaukee’s quarterly newsletters, weekly e-blasts and social media accounts while leading social media efforts during events. Kelsiee is a native of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a double minor in Corporate Communications and Advertising from Marquette University, where she graduated cum laude. 

Amanda Patterson
Summer Communications & Events Intern

Amanda Patterson joined TEMPO Milwaukee in June 2019 as the Summer Communication and Events Intern. In her role, Amanda assists the TEMPO team in the planning and execution of TEMPO Milwaukee events including monthly program meetings, and the membership events held throughout the summer. She also assists in formatting content for weekly e-blasts, newsletters and social media accounts. In addition, she utilizes live social media efforts during events. Amanda is a native of Milwaukee, and a senior at Marquette University. She is currently pursuing degrees in Public Relations and Writing-Intensive English.
