Jennifer Dirks  
President & CEO 



Jennifer Dirks joined TEMPO Milwaukee in 2014 as the organization's first President & CEO. In her role, Dirks is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of TEMPO Milwaukee's strategic direction. She works closely with the board chair, executive committee and board of directors to ensure this direction stays true to the organization's mission and vision of furthering the impact of women leaders in the Milwaukee business community. Dirks also oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization, corporate partnerships and serving as a community advocate on behalf of TEMPO Milwaukee. Dirks is a communications and public relations executive with more than 20 years of corporate and agency experience with business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. She served as Director Corporate Communications & Public Relations for Clifton Gunderson, a national CPA firm. Her agency experience includes Bader Rutter and Zeppos & Associates. Dirks also spent more than a decade as a television news reporter and producer in various newsrooms across the Midwest. She serves on the Boards of Thrivent Financial and the Milwaukee Art Museum Friends of Art. She is a member of The Executive Committee, COSBE, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee Celebrating G.I.R.L.S. committee and volunteers her time with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Lakefront Festival of Art. A native of St. Charles, Illinois, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications from Illinois State University. 

Marit Harm 
Program Development Manager
 


Marit Harm joined TEMPO Milwaukee in 2015 as Program Development Manager. In her role, Harm works with the President & CEO to execute programs and initiatives in accordance with the mission and vision of TEMPO Milwaukee. She serves as the main resource to the organization's 325+ members and 60+ Emerging Women Leaders, ensuring each individual is getting the most from her membership. In addition, she manages internal communications for TEMPO Milwaukee, including e-mail, newsletters, social media, website, direct mailings and surveys. She is also responsible for external communications and public relations for the organization. In addition, Harm manages all aspects of planning TEMPO Milwaukee's signature Mentor Awards Luncheon and Leadership Event, as well as dozens of small and medium-size events held monthly and quarterly. Harm is a volunteer with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Lakefront Festival of Art. She is a member of the 2017-18 Future Milwaukee cohort, a community leadership program affiliated with Marquette University. Marit is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism Advertising and Media Studies and minor in Spanish from UW-Milwaukee where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors.

Kelsiee Arreguin
Communications and Events Intern


Kelsiee Arreguin is TEMPO Milwaukee’s communications and events intern for the fall 2017 semester. In her role, Kelsiee assists with the planning and execution of various TEMPO Milwaukee events. She also works to develop content for TEMPO Milwaukee’s social media accounts while leading social media efforts during events. She is the point of contact for event prep, set-up, registration, and tear-down for monthly program meetings, quarterly professional development series, and Women’s Affinity Alliance programs. In addition, she assists with any additional tasks alongside Marit and Jen. Kelsiee is a native of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and currently a senior at Marquette University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a double minor in Corporate Communication and Advertising.
