TEMPO will move into the space currently occupied by Hempel, the developer of the downtown project. The office space, located on the second floor, is nearly 2,500 square feet.
In addition to the 3rd Street Market Hall, which features 24 food vendors, and the Plankinton Clover apartments, the downtown redevelopment project houses several event spaces and attractions including a Topgolf simulator, pickleball court and a selfie museum. TEMPO will also have access to several other amenities such as The Avenue’s dog wellness area, fitness center and training facility.

“The Avenue is a critical component of the revitalization and transformation of Milwaukee’s downtown scene. We are thrilled to be moving into this incredible space and joining the impressive mix of Milwaukee businesses and organizations that have recently taken up occupancy,” said Jennifer Dirks, president and CEO of TEMPO. “This is the perfect location for our growing TEMPO team and our membership base of nearly 800 women to gather, network and attend events.”
TEMPO vacated its offices at Schlitz Park in May 2020 and staff has been working remotely. The organization is scheduled to occupy its new space by early Fall 2021. The organization partnered with Jones Lang and LaSalle as its commercial real estate advisor and Eppstein Uhen Architects, Milwaukee’s largest architecture firm, to oversee improvements in the space.
