TEMPO is growing: More connections. More resources. More possibilities. A bold next chapter for TEMPO.

On September 1, TEMPO officially announced the launch of its first new chapter outside Wisconsin in St. Louis, marking an important milestone in the organization’s long-term strategy to expand its reach and build an even stronger network of women leaders.

Join us for a candid conversation about the vision, research and strategy behind TEMPO’s expansion beyond Milwaukee — and a look at what this next chapter means for the future of the organization and our Milwaukee community of members.

You’ll hear from the leaders who helped shape the journey to St. Louis, including those involved in the earliest conversations about expansion, the research and due diligence that identified St. Louis as a compelling opportunity, and one of the women who is helping build the TEMPO community there today.

 Our panel will feature:

• Jennifer Dirks | TEMPO President & CEO and Ana Simpson, | Girl Scouts Wisconsin Southeast |TEMPO Board Chair, who will share the vision behind TEMPO’s growth strategy, the planning that led to the decision to expand and why St. Louis emerged as the right opportunity at the right time.
• Heather Turner | EUA | former TEMPO Board Chair, who was instrumental in leading the early conversations and exploration around expansion.
• Alex Craig | Baird | current EWL member, who conducted research and due diligence on several communities as TEMPO explored potential markets, with St. Louis ultimately rising to the top.
• Jenny Bartlow | Microsoft | TEMPO St. Louis founding member, who has been an early ambassador and advocate for the new chapter. A part-time Milwaukee resident, Jenny brings a unique perspective on the opportunity for TEMPO’s two communities to learn from and benefit from one another.

 Julie Granger, TEMPO Chief Partnerships Officer, will moderate the conversation.

 Together, they’ll explore the thinking behind this important step for TEMPO, what we’re learning as we build in St. Louis, and how an expanded TEMPO network can create new relationships, expertise, resources and opportunities for collaboration and shared learning for members in both cities.

 And, we’ll look ahead: Where is TEMPO headed, and what becomes possible as we bring the power of the TEMPO network to more women leaders?

 Milwaukee will always be at the heart of TEMPO. Now, we have an opportunity to build on the strength of what we’ve created here and extend that impact in new ways.
