In March, 68 Emerging Women Leaders and 68 TEMPO members were matched in the 1-to-1 mentoring program. Although the kickoff event in April for our newest mentor/mentee pairings was canceled, we've already heard amazing feedback from matches who have been able to connect virtually and start to form lasting relationships. If you haven't been able to connect yet, that's okay too! Until we can get together in person, we invite our 68 new mentor/mentee pairs, and other existing matches who need some inspiration, to attend our (virtual) 1-to-1 Mentoring Power Hour. 

In 60-minutes, attendees can expect to:

• Re-energize your match, or connect for the first time. 
• Learn tips and tricks from successful pairs.
• Connect with EWL and TEMPO members in a brief breakout session (video encouraged!).

What is the EWL 1-to-1 Mentoring Program?
The EWL 1-to-1 Mentoring Program launched in 2017 and matches Emerging Women Leaders as mentees, one-on-one with TEMPO Milwaukee members as mentors. Interested EWL and TEMPO members take a survey to indicate their goals, preferences, availability, etc. and matches are curated by TEMPO staff. Since 2017, almost 200 matches between our EWL and TEMPO members have been facilitated. The minimum commitment is one year, however oftentimes matches elect to continue on for another year, or multiple years. 

Should I still attend this event if my mentor or mentee can't make it?
Yes! We encourage you to attend solo and take what you learn back to your mentor or mentee.

I am not currently paired with a mentor or mentee. How do I sign up to be a part of the 1-to-1 mentoring program?
The 1-to-1 mentoring committee currently matches EWL and TEMPO members 2x per year. Watch for a survey in the Monday Message in July, where you'll indicate your preferences, goals, availability, etc. Our goal is to announce our next round of matches by August 1st. 

Should I attend if I am not a mentor or mentee in the 1-to-1 mentoring program?
The program will be most beneficial to current participants in the program. We encourage you to sign up to be a mentor (if you're a TEMPO member) or mentee (if you're an EWL member) in July.
