TEMPO Talks: Are Employee Resource Groups More Important than Ever?
Special Women's Affinity Alliance Program

Are employee resource groups more important than ever? And, what role do ERGs (or business resource groups, affinity groups or networks) play amid COVID-19? First, Krista Brookman, Vice President Learning and Advisory Services with Catalyst, will share the top trends she's hearing right now related to diversity, equity and inclusion and opportunities for ERGs to plug in and add value. Then, three Milwaukee leaders, Lisa Cieslak, Tiffany Davister and Elizabeth Strike, will discuss what they are doing to engage group members, maintain connections, and provide a much-needed sense of belonging to employees right now. The panel will also share what their companies and ERGs are doing to address racism, support people of color and be even stronger allies.

  • Krista Brookman, Vice President Learning & Advisory Services, Catalyst
  • Lisa Cieslak, CFO & Chief Business Operations Officer, GMR Marketing
  • Tiffany Davister, Senior Manager Tax, EY

About the Women's Affinity Alliance: TEMPO Milwaukee’s Women’s Affinity Alliance (WAA) advances women professionals by bringing together leaders and members of corporate women’s affinity groups to network, share resources and discuss best practices that can then be taken back to one’s own organization. WAA was formed in 2011 by three TEMPO Milwaukee members who saw the need for an initiative that unites women’s affinity group stakeholders under one roof. Learn more here.
